Music Forte opened its doors in 1985 as Music Services Unlimited, back when 24-hour live music kept Atlantic City humming and a stop at the local music shop was part of every musician's week.
More than forty years later, we're still independently owned and operated, still teaching, still repairing, and still talking shop with customers we've known since they were kids. The neighborhood changed. The instruments changed. We're still here.
Whether you're picking up your first guitar or bringing in a clarinet you played in high school, you're getting advice from people who actually play, teach, and care how it turns out.

Private lessons
One-on-one weekly lessons in our six soundproof studios. Customized to your level, your goals, and the music you actually want to play.
Band classes
Up to six students learning to play together: drums, guitars, bass, keys, and horns. Ends with a real performance at Music Forte.
Jam sessions
Less structured, more groove. Show up, plug in, and play with other musicians. Great for getting comfortable jamming with a band.
