Start playing without the upfront commitment.
Whether it's your first clarinet for fifth-grade band, a violin to try for a season, or a guitar to get serious on, we'll fit you with the right instrument, on a term that fits your year. Flexible months. Rent-to-own options. Almost any instrument we can get our hands on.
Three simple steps to take an instrument home.
Renting through us isn't an online checkout. It's a conversation. We want every student walking out with the right instrument, the right size, and the right plan.
Stop in or call
Tell us what you're playing, what school you're in, or what you're hoping to learn. We'll talk through what makes sense.
Get fitted
Especially for strings and band instruments, size matters. We make sure you leave with one that fits, not one that almost fits.
Take it home
Pick a term, sign the rental agreement, and start playing. Switch, return, or apply payments toward purchase later. Your call.
Months that match how you actually play.
Pick a term that matches your school year, your season, or how long you want to commit. You can switch instruments, extend, or transition into rent-to-own at any point.
Month-to-Month
Maximum flexibility with no long commitment. Great for trying an instrument out, covering a short season, or going month by month while you decide.
School Year
Our most popular term, built around the academic calendar. The nine-month school-year program runs from the start of fall band and orchestra through the end of the school year, so the instrument is covered for exactly as long as your student needs it.
Full Year
For students committed for the long haul, summer practice included. Best path into rent-to-own if purchase is the goal.
Almost every instrument you can think of.

Don't see it?
Call us. If we can get it through our network, we'll quote you on a rental.
All instruments come ready to play: case, basic accessories, and a full inspection included.
Right-size the instrument and the student stays with it.
Most students who quit don't quit because they didn't like music. They quit because the instrument was wrong for them. A violin that's too big, a clarinet with a stiff reed, a guitar with high action: small problems that turn practice into a fight.
We don't sell rentals out of a catalog. We have you (or your kid) hold it, fit the size, check the action, and make sure it actually feels right before you walk out.
-
Sized to the player
Especially critical for strings, where 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full sizes can make or break early progress.
-
Inspected before pickup
Every rental gets a play-test and adjustment before it leaves the shop. No "fix it later" surprises.
-
Maintenance & protection options
Optional protection covers damage, repairs, and replacement on most rentals. We'll walk through what's right for you.
-
School program savvy
We know what local school bands and orchestras require. Bring us the supply list and we'll match it.
What parents and students ask us most.
Why don't you list rental prices online?
What's included with the rental?
Can my child switch instruments mid-term?
How does rent-to-own work?
What if the instrument breaks?
Do you offer rentals through my child's school?
Can adults rent too?
